Les Fugitives is home to a co-publishing initiative for pre-published and published authors, with or without literary representation, writing in English or in French. This partnership is based on a shared investment principle whereby publisher and author enter a financial partnership enabling Les Fugitives to take charge of editorial, design and print production from manuscript stage to publication.

Authors of ambitious, highly personal literary works of fiction or non-fiction which expand the remit of our existing list are welcome to apply when submissions reopen.

Selected authors are offered high royalty rates, together with 50 complimentary copies of their book which they are free to sell. Projects eligible for funding or with existing funding are given priority, but quality and potential remain our main criteria for selection, as the works are published as part of our list.

Since we opened this initiative in December 2023, two new works of fiction have been selected for ‘the quick brown fox’ collection, and one work of non-fiction in translation from the French will join our list of books in translation. These three works are:

The White Flower by Charlotte Beeston
Blackout by Yann Chateigné Tytelman
The Surviving Cells by Brian Willems

Submissions are currently closed.
